iPhone copying Android?

According to TheNextWeb Apple is considering copying a feature from Android, the pull down notification menu in third party application. The idea is a uniform bar amongst third party applications where you can access notifications and navigate generally through the application and possibly the the OS in general.

A good idea is good, no matter what the source. Bring it on!
